13th January 2012 – submission of abstracts, keywords, research profiles and image:
1. Paper Abstract. The abstract should be no more than 250 words and should outline what the paper will cover.
2. Keywords. The list of keywords to describe your paper should be no more than 20 words in total.
3. Research Profile. The research profile should be written in the third person and be no more than 100 words.
4. Image. The image should visualise your research: it could be an image of your ‘field research’, an image of the materials or place you are researching, a drawing, a graph, an abstract image that relates to your research or it can be the poster you produced in your first year. This should be sent as a Jpeg or PDF file.
23rd March 2012 – submission of conference papers:
The conference paper should be 3,000 words including references in a Harvard format, and must be submitted in the correct format, using the template provided on the website, here.
All papers will be peer reviewed before publication.
18th May 2012 – presentation of papers: 2nd year students:
The presentation of the paper should be fifteen minutes, and can be presented in any format.
Presentation formats could be a series of images, a PowerPoint Presentation, a Prezi presentation, a performance, or another format. Please inform us of your presentation format by 10th May 2012.
Speakers should arrive early on 18th May to load their presentations to the computer.
18th May 2012 – presentation of posters: 1st year students:
The presentation of posters is for the first year RPC students. These are produced as part of the assessment of Module B, and we encourage students to bring a digital copy of their poster to present in the exhibition of the conference. Posters should follow the guidelines set by the RPC module, and be brought ready to present as a PDF file.
